Bass Science started in the summer of 2007 as 2-man Live P.A., making Dub-hop / Glitch step bass music. Bass Science fuses dubstep, glitch hop, IDM and dub into a fresh new sound that is simultaneously filthy and extremely clean. In less than a year since their inception, they have created a prolific body of work and electrified dance floors across the globe: call it glitchstep, call it dubhop, call it what you will, Bass Science’s hybrid sounds are generating a cabinet-rattling buzz. In the past 2 years they’ve dazzled crowds at seminal festivals and clubs from UK’s Glade to LA’s Low End Theory, with globetrotting gigs spanning Asia, Europe and the US and sharing stages with STS9, Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing, Eliot Lipp, and more. Bass Science’s tracks, meanwhile, have received enthusiastic support from influential DJs like the BBC’s Mary Anne Hobbs and Annie Nightingale, Resonance FM’s Nick Luscombe, with regular rotation on Dubstep.FM. 2011 is a changing of an era for Bass Science. We Bang – One of Dubstep/Electronic music prodcuer from Los Angeles, California was signed to Play Me Records with his debut release “Smash the Floor” which topped Beatport’s dubstep top ten charts at #1for 8 weeks as well as Beatport’s and the only dubstep track to hit the overall genre charts at #32. The release entitled “Summer Smash” includes “Smash the Floor” featured on the infamous Paula Abdul’s Live to dance as well as radio play on BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac Mash Up Mix show and Annie Nightingale’s Radio 1 Breaks show, Skinz UK, DJ Hatcha’s pure Dubstep Ministry of Sound, and many others also includes electro dubstep smasher “Skytop” crowning him Best Breakthrough Artist of the 2010 in Dubstep. Viewed as one of the most humble hard working artist in Dubstep, We Bang has played alongside some of Dubsteps greatest DJs and Producers such as Skrillex, 12 Planet, Plastician, Downlink, Liquid Stranger, Vaski, Flinch, Mimosa, Cookie Monsta, Reidspeed and many others We Bang is a product of dubstep sounds filtered into 80’s synths, melodic melody and rave stabs wrapped in heavy bass that will take you on a journey of pure dance floor destruction.
